The Stained Glass art creates an exterior wall in the pavilion of the El Paso Museum of History that remains open to the public from morning to night. The stained glass artwork titled "Time expanding" symbolizes the Southwest landscape of light and vast open space.

Derix's Glass Studios fabricated the stained glass artwork with fired vitreous airbrushed and hand painted elements, tempered and laminated with additional hand-blown stained glass applied to the surface, creating brilliant textural elements.
